Job description

HR Specialist (Germany, Remote)

Do you believe that HR is more than just administration? Want to have a real impact on people, processes, and workplace culture? Join us as an HR Specialist and help us create great employee experiences in Germany.

We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid of challenges, feels at home in an international environment, and wants to shape local HR processes actively. You don’t have to be an expert in German labor law — what matters most is your mindset, independence, and willingness to learn.

Job requirements

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 3 years of experience in an HR role, nice to see on the German market

  • Speaks German fluently (min. C1) and has a good command of English (min. B2)

  • Works independently, is well-organized, and attentive to both people and details

  • Is empathetic, communicative, and able to build trust

  • Thrives in a remote work environment and takes ownership

  • Knowledge of German labor law and the local legal landscape is a plus, but not required

  • Bonus points for experience with Personio, knowledge of Polish, or background in international teams

Your responsibilities:

  • Supporting employees based in Germany throughout the entire employee lifecycle – onboarding, development, feedback, and offboarding

  • Preparing and managing employee documentation in Personio

  • Collaborating with an external payroll provider to ensure accurate payroll

  • Co-managing local recruitment processes (together with the team in Poland)

  • Organizing training sessions, supporting employee growth, and fostering a feedback culture

  • Preparing HR reports and contributing to continuous process improvements

  • Understanding of German labor law and working time regulations is beneficial, but not mandatory

What we offer:

  • Fully remote work (you can be based in Poland, Germany, or any other EU country)

  • A high level of independence – you’ll take full ownership of the HR area in Germany

  • A friendly atmosphere, openness to ideas, and real influence on how we do things

  • A team that enjoys their work and treats HR as a true partner – not just “admin”

  • Space for growth and the opportunity to shape your career path

Why us?

Because we take HR seriously.
Because we like the people we work with.
Because here, you can combine structure with flexibility, and tasks with relationships.
Because we’ve created a space where you can truly be yourself – with a healthy dose of humor, and a strong sense of responsibility.
