Your role

As a Lead Developer, PHP/Symfony, you will lead the team and take responsibility for the development of ambitious e-commerce projects. Your technical decisions will directly impact the architecture and performance of large-scale systems for top-tier clients.

  • Lead and contribute to Symfony-based projects (new implementations, custom modules, integrations).

  • Mentor and support less experienced developers.

  • Drive architectural decisions and promote best practices (clean code, testing, documentation).

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders – from product owners to end clients.

  • Optimize performance and scalability of enterprise-level applications.

Job requirements

What we’re looking for

  • 5–7+ years of experience in PHP and Symfony.

  • Strong background in designing and developing enterprise-scale solutions.

  • Solid knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs and MySQL.

  • Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, ElasticSearch.

  • Excellent communication skills and Agile/Scrum experience.

  • Nice to have: Shopware 6 (integrations, modules) and Vue.js.

  • Dutch language proficiency (C1).
