People & Culture Manager

Your Role

We are looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, can think strategically, and act operationally. You will be the main point of contact for all HR matters within Strix Netherlands and will work closely with the management team to shape our people and growth strategy.

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR role

  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and employment conditions

  • Excellent command of Dutch (native level) and English (minimum C1)

  • Independent, organized, and results-oriented

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels

  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on mentality

  • Experience with HRIS systems

  • Affinity with an international environment and/or the IT/digital sector is a plus

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; HR certification (e.g. NHRP, CIPD) is a plus

Your Responsibilities

Strategic

  • Develop and implement People & Culture strategy, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives

  • Advise the management team on People & Culture matters and best practices

  • Initiate culture development and employee engagement initiatives

  • Provide HR reports and analyses to support data-driven decision making

Operational

  • Support the recruitment cycle, including onboarding

  • Manage labor relations, including conflict mediation and disciplinary processes

  • Refine and execute the performance cycle

  • Coordinate training & development programs

  • Manage payroll administration (in cooperation with Finance/external payroll provider)

  • Administer employment contracts and benefits

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records

  • Oversee offboarding processes

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Management Team

  • Act as a sparring partner for team leads

  • Collaborate with Finance on payroll and benefits

  • Liaise with external partners (legal advisors, occupational health specialists, etc.)

  • Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues in other Strix countries
